External certificate sources

  • External certificate sources can be used, when your communication partner has a ldap directory that provides S/MIME certificates for their users.
  • The required connection values can be provided by your communication partner if it is supported
  • The Domainlist needs a list of domains that the communication partner has certificates for
  • Via "Test settings" you can check for a specific address, if a certificate is found and the connection values are correc.
