The Diagnose "Firmware" is used to check, if a recent Firmware Update is available.
The current version is also displayed.
Updates can be installed via Webinterface -> Administration -> Updates.
The Diagnose can be run daily or now and used within the scheduled hourly selftest.
It is recommended running the REDDOXX Appliance always on the recent Software Version.
An additional Hotfix Check can also be used to notify about (check) or to install (Install) as well as ignore (ignore) available hotfixes.
If the Diagnose is enabled as selftest, the chosen actions will be performed hourly.
The best appliance security is given, when the diagnose is enabled as selftest and the hotfix action is configured to install.
